TUTCM will continue to enroll Chinese Government Scholarship for postgraduates from all over the world in 2014, details are as follows.

III. Applicant Requirements

A.Non-Chinese Citizen

B.Current student-in-China is not applicable(Applicable to graduates from China over a year)

C.Healthy and fluent in Chinese

D.For Master’s Applicants (One of the following):

i.TCM or Acupuncture & Moxibustion andTuinaBachelor’s Degree

ii.Bachelor’s Degree related to Medicine Subjects and has completed the designated TCM courses;

Or Bearer of TCM or Acupuncturist License

iii.Bachelor’s Degree and has completed the designated Medical courses; Or Bearer of TCM or Acupuncturist License

iv.For Master’s Applicants in Chinese Materia Medica, Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical Analysis, Pharmaceutical Chemistry or Pharmacy: Bachelor in CMM, Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Preparation, Crude Drug, Pharmacology or other related majors

E.For Doctoral Applicants (One of the following):

i.TCM related programs or Acupuncture & Moxibustion andTuinaor Chinese Materia Medica Master’s Degree

ii.Master’s Degree related to Medicine Subjects, and has completed the designated TCM coursesF.No more than 35 years old for master’s applicants and no more than 40 for doctoral applicants.

IV. Contents of Scholarship:

A.Exempt from application fee, tuition;

B.Living allowance;

C.Accommodation on campus;

D.One-off settlement subsidy after registration for new student;

E.Comprehensive Medical Insurance and Benefit Plan for International Students in China.

F.Fee forFirstResident Permit

V. Expenses excluded in the Scholarship range above should be self-supported. Expenses including but not limited to international tickets, transportation fares overseas or in China, physical examination fee, verification in China, item redo and etc. will be responsible by the students.This scholarship is used for studying in TUTCM ONLY and no program transferring permitted after admission. Please refer to the CSC website for the latest standard and rate.

B. Paper Documents Needed (in duplicate):

a.printed Application Forms for Chinese Government Scholarship after submitting it online (Using the above URL to print the forms)

b.Two Letters of Recommendation (by 2 different people)

c.NOTARIZEDPhotocopies of Highest Degree/Diploma Obtained in Chinese or English

d.NOTARIZEDPhotocopies of Academic Transcript of Highest Degree/Diploma in Chinese or English

e.Study Plan in China, 800 or more words

f.Photocopy of Passport

g.Signed Photographs

h.Foreigner Physical Examination Form(Please fill in the form using English. The medical examinations must cover all the items listed in the Foreigner Physical Examination Form. Incomplete records or those without the signature of the attending physician, the official stamp of the hospital or a sealed photograph of the applicants are invalid. Applicants should have the physical exam later than Mar. 20, 2014;submit the copy of it before Mar. 31, 2014and bring ALL the attachments when coming to China)

Note:Each set of complete materials should NOT exceed 20 pages. Please use A4-size paper. The application documents will not returned to the applicants who fail to get the scholarship.
